This document is not an erotic or explicit writ about sex.
It is only aimed at providing a minimum of credible information on cholesterol and sexuality, and on the effects of cholesterol-lowering drugs on sex life. The most frequently prescribed cholesterol-lowering drugs are statins, which we will talk about almost exclusively here.
Here however reigns the law of silence!
We are going to try and break it.
The terms and concepts of sexuality and sex life are taken in the widest sense, from the reproduction of the species (having babies), to sexual mechanics (male erections, for example) and into psychological pleasure or desire, both female and male.
